Jimmy Pitts

Jimmy Pitts was born and raised in Mississippi. A self taught artist and musician, his artwork is owned by collectors around The United States, including the late film director Robert Altman and country music musician Marty Stuart. His first book of poetry, The Weather of Dreams, was published by David Robert Books of Cincinnati in 2007. His first album of original music will be released later this year. He lives and works in Oxford, Mississippi and loves taking photographs of out of the ordinary or neglected subject matter.
